Why me? Why me?!? WHY ME!?!?!?! Why do things never seem to work out as planned? Why did it have to work out that way? Why do things go wrong?
The dreaded whining whys! We all do it, I know, I am guilty as charged. It’s at times like this when we need to snap out of the “Why OH Why” mentality and shift our focus onto something where there is less tension. I say less tension as I don’t think it is always possible to go from a place of why me, especially WHY ME?!?!?!, to a place of happy as larry dancing around the living room. Maybe with a few glasses of wine but even this takes time to drink and then lets be honest the alcohol won’t solve the situation anyway…. It will just add to it with a blazing hangover the next morning….
So here’s a great way to shift your attention to something which is a little more positive than the dreaded whining why’s!
Stick with me on this, with practice it really does work. You can re-train your reactions, your thought process, you whole outlook on life… So why wouldn’t you?
Trust the Process
Thats right, you are in the process of living your ideal life. In this process things may not always go to plan or manifest as we had hoped. Sometimes things can get really uncomfortable. Or really crappy.
Now, if you are already familiar with the Law of Attraction you will be aware that our thoughts become things in our lives. What we think about we bring about, it’s all a matter of like attracts like, even when we are talking about our own vibes. Understand at this point, that we can’t always be in control, due to what’s going off in our subconscious. How does that make you feel?
Breathe…. Relax…. Flow…. Not everything is in our control. Even if you feel you have manifested, attracted or maybe even clearly asked for a Why Me moment, worry not, help is at hand! You can change how you react the the outcome.
Everyone knows the old saying “Everything happens for a reason” I feel this old chestnut was created to help us relax a little when things don’t go to plan. It’s as if we can push the things to one side with an expectation of everything happening for a divine reason. To a certain extent I believe this to be true, although I do feel it’s down to each individual beliefs. Remember – What you believe will become your reality.
This is why I choose to believe it to a certain extent, maybe 50% belief for me 😉 I suppose it lets you off the hook a little (wink wink)
Once you understand the Law of Attraction and commit to making it your way of life you know and understand (when you choose to) that you manifest and attract everything in your own life. When you understand this it is much easier to change your vibes (vibrations) much more smoothly, without too many tears! (I know I have been there….lol). Sometimes though, on the other hand it can drive you near crazy when things don’t go to plan. As a Law of Attraction believer you can also drive those around you to near crazy with your constant reminder that it’s their own fault things haven’t gone to plan. eeeek!
Life is supposed to be fun. Life is supposed to be easy. The Law of Attraction is supposed to be fun and easy too! It’s our natural state of being. Let me say it again…. Fun and Easy! Yay! 🙂 🙂 🙂
So here goes…. Now, as I mentioned earlier, due to subconscious thoughts and the millisecond thoughts which are occurring in our lives every second of every day, other stuff can be happening which may be outside our control. This is when we have to Trust the Process – trust that things are working out the way they are to help us move towards a better outcome further down the line. Sometimes all we can control is that fact that we are being happy and enjoying life as much as we possibly can. We are lightening up.
Start to look at challenges as opportunities to grow, strengthen yourself, move forward. Breathe…. Relax…. Allow…. Change your reactions to the Why Me moments…
Try these on for size –
“Ok, I see things haven’t quite gone to plan, but I know in my heart this is the best possible outcome at this present moment.”
“I am trusting the process, things were meant to happen like this, I can gain strength from this situation.”
“I trust the process, due to these unexpected changes, life will flow in a better direction.”
“I trust this has happened for the highest good.”
If you can’t muster any of these up use the old chestnut if it helps you keep calm. “Oh well…. Everything happens for a reason and a good one at that, I AM going to trust this process. I am going to focus on feeling calm.”
You get the idea. It’s all about how you are looking at and reacting to things. Once you commit to this way of thinking it becomes more natural, trust me on this one and give it a go 🙂
